What makes the rehab standout from the other rehabs is the presence of the supposed elderly ‘guides’ in their 60s and 70s, called ‘imongs’ and ‘imangs’. They serve as volunteers to inspire and help the recovering drug-dependents towards their full recovery. Some of these elderly guides include AURORA, the former jukebox star, her husband MIGUEL, a now crippled boxer, and FRANKO, the gay fashion designer that didn’t live up to his potentials.

Leslie’s peaceful stay in the rehab turns to something creepy and sinister, as unexplained incidents start to occur. The elderly residents, which should be an epitome for good change, have become a subject of suspicions for her.

Leslie will then sooner discover that the change she and the other drug-dependents were expecting is much darker than they have expected.

A sequel to the 2006 independent horror hit, Hospicio (Numbalikdiwa2) will challenge its audience on its questions of morality and mortality. What is evil and what is good? What does it really mean to change from evil to good and vice versa? How do we change?
